Sinopsis

Dengan hilangnya Major Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9’s Batou ditugaskan untuk menyelidiki serangkaian pembunuhan mengerikan tampaknya tangan gynoids rusak, atau robot seks. Tapi ketika seorang gynoid yang cacat meninggalkan Batou dengan sebuah pesan rahasia, dia mulai mempertanyakan apa penyebab kerusakannya. Kecurigaan pembunuhan bermotif politik dan “Ghost ” ilegal dengan cepat muncul, menarik Batou dan rekannya, Togusa, ke dalam jaringan konspirasi yang berbahaya.
